Certified by the California Secretary of State, Double Peak Mobile Notary offers notary public document signing services in North San Diego County.

As part of my notary commission, I have completed all required courses and written exams and passed a thorough background check by the FBI and the California Department of Justice. I am a member of the National Notary Association (NNA). I have extensive experience notarizing various documents, including the power of attorney, trusts, and advanced health care directives.

 

I will travel to your home, place of business, hospital, assisted living facility, school, or other convenient for you meeting place, or, in the alternative, you can come to my offices for notarization. Mobile notary services are available for the cities across north San Diego County, including, but not limited to, cities of Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, and Encinitas. I have access to military installations, including Camp Pendleton. Q: What kind of documents do you process?

Answer:

I have extensive training and experience with notarizing signatures on various types of documents, including, but not limited to:

Q: What do you need from me to perform document(s) notarization? What should I bring with me?

Answer:

Please bring:

  • All of the documents that you need to be notarized (complete copies including all pages, not just the signature page).

  • You must show a current government identification card (ID) that has been issued within the past five (5) years [per Civil Code Section 118(c)(3)&(4)]. The ID must have a photograph, description, signature of the person, and an identifying number.

Examples of acceptable IDs would be:

  • Driver's license or identification card issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles

  • U.S. Passport

  • Foreign Passport

  • Military ID card

  • Consular card

  • Tribal ID card

In the event that none of these forms of ID are available, you will need to bring with you two (2) credible witnesses who fulfill all three (3) of the following requirements:

  • Personally know you (the signer)

  • Are not named in the document(s)

  • Do not have a financial interest in the document(s)

  • Have proper IDs as described above

Q: What are your fees?

Answer:

My fees are:

  • Each notarized signature: $15 per signature

  • Apostille – Request a Quote

  • Elisor Signing at the Vista Family Court: $75 (this fee is inclusive of travel and notarization)

  • Additional travel fees apply if I have to come to you

50% discount

Q: Do you offer any discounts?

Answer:

I offer discounts for senior citizens, active military/veterans, teachers, nurses, and first responders.

I also offer a significant discount or wave my travel fees for six (6) or more notarized signatures.

Q: Do you come to my city for notarization and is there an extra fee for this?

Answer:

In addition to the notary fees, if I have to come to you, there is a travel fee, based on the location of our meeting.

Please note that I either offer a significant discount or wave my travel fees for six (6) or more notarized signatures.

I also offer discounts for senior citizens, active military/veterans, teachers, nurses, and first responders.

In general, I charge $25 for the 1st 5 miles of travel and $10 for every 5 miles after that (please see some exceptions to this below).

Double Peak Mobile Notary is based in San Marcos (San Elijo Hills) and serves north San Diego County within about a 10-15 miles radius of its place of business.

To give you an idea of how much my travel fees are for particular cities/communities I serve:

  • San Elijo Hills: $15.00

  • Elfin Forest: $25.00

  • Santa Fe Hills: $25.00

  • San Marcos: $25.00 - $50.00 (depending on the area)

  • La Costa: $35.00 - $55 (depending on the area)

  • Carlsbad: $45 - $60 (depending on the area)

  • Escondido: $45.00 - $65.00 (depending on the area)

  • Encinitas: $55.00

  • Leucadia: $55.00

  • Oceanside: $60.00 - $85 (depending on the area)

  • Olivenhain: $55

  • Solana Beach: $65.00

  • Vista: $50.00 - $85.00 (Depends on the area of Vista)

  • Camp Pendleton (south entrance): $85

  • Hospital or Medical Office

    • Kaiser San Marcos: $50.00

    • Palomar Medical Center: $55.00

Q: What kind of payments do you accept?

Answer:

Currently, I accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, and checks under $25.00.

Q: What if there is a problem with the notarization?

Answer:

I take pride in my work, so if the documents are not notarized correctly the first time, I will fix the situation as soon as possible and the return trip is free of charge.

Q: Are you licensed and bonded?

Answer:

I am fully licensed, insured, and bonded. My commission (license) expires on April 30, 2026.
